Coeur d’Alene Marathon/Half Marathon Enjoy the CDA Lake shoreline as you follow the course along the North Idaho Centennial Trail

June:
Car d' Lane Classic Car show is the city's main auto event of the year! For two days each summer, Sherman once again becomes a cruising mecca. For information, call 208-667-5986

Ironman USA Triathlon is hosted by Coeur d'Alene. This event brings 2,500 of the world's best athletes to test their skills and endurance mastering a 2.4 mile swim in Lake Coeur d' Alene, 112 mile bike leg and a 26.2 mile run. The event features spots for the upcoming Ironman World Championships held annually in Kona, HI. If you plan to attend, make your lodging reservations early, and don't forget our Ironman Special.

July:
Race The River Triathlon is a sprint-distance triathlon that takes place in beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho.  It starts with a 0.5 mile swim with the mild current of the Spokane River, just as it leaves crystal clear Lake Coeur d’Alene.  Athletes transition onto their bikes through the Riverstone complex and navigate an exciting and technically challenging 11 mile bike course.  Exiting transition, runners loop through a serene city park for 3.1 miles, around a large pond with fountain and across a bridge made of an old train car.
July 4 - Fourth of July Festival is very exciting in this resort community. The enthusiastic parade down Sherman Avenue is followed by concerts in the park and a spectacular display of fireworks over Lake Coeur d' Alene. Many locals view the display from their boats.

August:
Art on the Green is held in Coeur d' Alene at the north Idaho College campus on the shores of Lake Coeur d' Alene. You will find this three-day weekend packed with fun and adventure. Three events take place all in the beautiful downtown lakeside area of Coeur d’ Alene. This three-day event brings together 100's of visual artists who present their work for sale and performing artists who share a variety of dances and musical interpretations non-stop on two different stages. There are food booths galore. Come and enjoy ART to your heart's content. This is one of the largest attended community events in the Inland Northwest region.

A Taste of Coeur d’ Alene - held in Coeur d’ Alene city park, 208-660-2789 features over 25 food booths with some the surrounding area's finest.

The Coeur d’ Alene Street Fair - Sherman Ave. is the location for the 3 day street fair event hosted by the CDA Downtown Association featuring arts and crafts, food and entertainment. The street fair event is free to the public.

Coeur d’Alene Triathlon - The Scenic Challenge, This event began in 1984 and has become a local and regional amateur race bringing athletes to the area from throughout the inland northwest.
