Featured Coeur d'Alene B&B on the Cover
A Unique” Frame Of Mind”
We started this construction project with the intentions of placing it on the local “Parade of Homes”. As soon as the Scott’s purchased the five-acre site, we focused on building it as a Bed and Breakfast, and as such, it has some unique features. The open six-sided kitchen works well, as it gives the guests access to great conversation as the hosts prepare breakfasts. A bathroom for each guest room was included, dormer skylights, a wrap-around front porch, gazebo, two dining rooms, built in display areas for an extensive collection of antiques, all were a central part of the focus on this project.
The second floor area above the garage was built as separate living quarters for the owners and is connected to the main floor of the house through a breezeway. I have taken several prospective clients up to the B&B to see first-hand, some of these features, and if seating permitted, Shar & Brian included us as guests for one of their gourmet breakfasts.
They have developed the grounds into a park-like setting, and seeing the landscape is worth a visit on its own. Our company enjoyed the complete building process with the Scott’s.
